GAIT & AGEING 2026 Workshop at IISc Bengaluru
Bengaluru, August 2026 — Texon Corporation proudly participated in GAIT & AGEING 2026, the National Seminar & Workshop on Gait Analysis and Healthy Ageing, held at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.
The workshop brought together leading researchers, clinicians, academicians, and professionals to discuss the latest developments in gait analysis, human movement, biomechanics, and healthy ageing.
Keynote Insights on Walking, Gait and Ageing
One of the key highlights of the workshop was the keynote session focusing on the relationship between walking, gait characteristics, and ageing. The speaker discussed how changes in walking patterns can provide valuable insights into functional ability and age-related changes in human movement.
Gait analysis is increasingly being recognized as an important tool for understanding mobility and identifying changes in movement performance associated with ageing. Demonstration of Vicon Motion Capture Technology
As part of the workshop, Texon Corporation demonstrated Vicon Motion Capture technology, showcasing how advanced 3D motion capture can be used for precise human movement and gait analysis.
